Further validating his record as a champion for working women and men, today California Democratic Party Vice Chair Eric C. Bauman won the forceful backing of a powerhouse labor union, Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters, in his campaign to become the Golden State Democratic Party’s next Chair.

In announcing their support, Dan Langford, President of the Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters, released the following statement:

“Eric Bauman has been there in the fight for higher wages and job security. He’s been a steadfast friend of working people that we have been able to count on. We are proud to endorse Eric Bauman for California Democratic Party Chair because we need a chair who understands not only the importance of creating jobs, but the need to ensure we are creating the types of jobs that allow everyday Californians to support a family and pay a mortgage.”
